Father: Vasily Ivanovich Kuzhelny, born in 1937.
Mother: Ludmila Ivanovna Kuzhelnaja (Kozlova), born in 1937.
EDUCATION:
In 1984 she finished three courses of Dnepropetrovsk Engineering and
Building Institute (the Ukraine), then she was transferred to Moscow Aviation
Institute after S. Ordzhonikidze and graduated from it in 1988 in speciality
of Flight Dynamics and Control.
FAMILY STATUS: Married.
Husband: Vladimir Georgievich Morozov, retired colonel.
Daughter: Ekaterina, born in 1999.
HOBBY: Playing guitar, tennis.
SPORTS ACHIEVEMENTS:
In 1982 she entered the sailplane section of Dnepropetrovsk air sports
club where she got the 3-rd grade in parachute jumping and the 2-nd grade
in gliding.
She has the 1-st grade in air sport and is a member of P.O. Sukhoi
Design Bureau woman's aerobatics team.
She flied by Yak-52, Yak-55, Su-26, Su-29, L-39 aircraft.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
From May 1988 to June 1994 she was an engineer, mathematical engineer
of S.P. Korolev NPO Energia.
On April 1, 1994 she was selected for RSC Energia cosmonaut detachment
by decision of the State Interdepartmental Committee.
On June 16, 1994 she was enlisted in RSC Energia cosmonaut detachment
as a candidate for test cosmonauts.
In 1996 she was appointed to a post of a test cosmonaut of RSC Energia
cosmonaut detachment.
In 1994-1996 she passed a course of general space training at Yu. A.
Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center.
On April 25, 1996 a qualification of a test-cosmonaut was conferred
on her by decision of the Interdepartmental Qualification Committee.
From June to September 1996 she passed training as a member of the
cosmonaut team under the ISS program.
From August 1997 to November 1998 she passed training under the program
of the ISS Russian visiting crew (the ISS-taxi) as a member of the team,
however, she interrupted it because of the maternity leave due to the birth
of a child.
In May 1999 she resumed training as a flight engineer of the Russian
visiting crew. |
